Mr. Dirk Zoutewelle, owner of an institute for orthomolecular science and applied Psycho-Neuro-Immunology, has been researching, developing, practicing and teaching for well over ten years. Dirk is an expert on the treatment of autism, chronic fatigue syndrome, cancer and is a successful performance coach for Dutch Olympic and Worldchampion sport athletes. He has been treating many patients especially on brain performance. Using specialized laboratory testing, he has been able to help many people reach a better health. His mission started when he himself was confronted with colon cancer on an early age. Now spreading his vision to the public, colleagues, academics, government, health insurance companies, many people like to become inspired by his talk on the “simple” laws of life. The brain as ‘control room, that needs to be able to communicate properly internally, uses the majority of energy to function properly. Regarding sport performance, the brain will be the barrier to overcome, since recovery systems use the same building blocks as the brain uses for neurotransmitters; amino acids. His mission is to raise awareness that on all stages in live, from small children to adults, from ill performing to high performance, that Brain, Biochemistry and Awareness are the key ingredients that supports health. This applies to athletes, managers, CEO’s, etc. Changes in physiology always precedes pathology. Sport performance can therefore be supported and safeguarded by food, food supplements and tests on physiology that will predict a drop on performance. His ideas lead to the production of a broad line of food supplements in his company named Cell Care philosophy in supplements. Cell Care was launched in 2003, specifically on the market of health professionals. Today Cell Care is presenting a range of supplements for sportperformance, with an extra phocus on brain health. This range of products has been tested in the antidoping lab in Cologne.
